Melol then everyone else.

Also Omar Cook's name is being mentioned a little bit too much in this thread. He was a very good college freshman PG, but again, his name is being mentioned a little bit TOO much in here.

"Good" is an understatement...Dude was incredible....15/8 as a freshman PG in the BE back in the day are eye-popping numbers. No he didn't have as much professional success as many of the other cats being mentioned in this thread, but to think he doesn't deserve to be mentioned as one of the BEST one-and-done players of the past decade isn't right.
If this conversation took place in 2003 then, yes, put Cook in the discussion. His stats are nice, but definitely not better than that Melo's,Durant's or Beasley's. And in terms of team success, he did not even lead his team to the tournament, let alone to a .500 record. I don't see howhe can even be mentioned with those guys. Compare him to someone like Marbury (from a different decade), who put up great numbers and whose team won theregular-season ACC title, lost by a point in the ACC championship game, and made it to the Sweet Sixteen, and its not even close.

Eddie Griffin > Omar Cook.

still dont see how Beasley is not every bit KD's equal. exact same numbers, exact same team success...supporting cast, edge to KD.
