Whats up the thought just came across my mind, Whos the best rapper out? Now in the general philly area there are alot of different arguements. But overall the majority elect Jay-Z. Now in my personal opinion I choose Lupe Fiasco. With 2 classic albums and one more classic on the way its hard to ignore him as one the best out. Also with a pretty sucessful first album, "Food and Liquor", when he was ready to drop his second LP, "The Cool" he said that he wanted more spins so instead of dumbing down lol his lyrics he took the opportunity to make his first single "Superstar" a lil more pop and mainstream in order to get the message across. If you havent ever really listened to the lyrics of that song. I suggest you take a listen. My vote is Fiasco! Whats yours?

Nah, not right right now... but his body of work speaks volumes. He's still an all-star, just not MVP.

agreed

Still having trouble finding this dude Avy but in my opinion the best rapper out signed or unsigned is gonna have a following. Now im just hearing the same two ppl vouching for him so that leaves me wit doubt. Also! This clown Jay Z might have been the MVP and All-Star but wit those two retirement fakeouts and those corny albums following. Its only destroying his legacy. In fact he supposed to be so great but Rick Ross's "Deeper than Rap" was by fat the best rap album of the year!

The whole concept of a Legacy is a joke. The music is the legacy. And me personally, I like Kingdom Come a whole lot; I  LOVED American Gangster SO much; and I got more than my money's worth from BP3 (got it for free-ninety-nine

). What more can you ask for? Oh yeah, classic after classic after classic. I forgot..
