Best Release Date Story

I know I know its been done before but I gotta talk about this one...

My guy gave me his money so I would pick up retro 8s

because he had to work and at the time Footlocker was beefing with JB and I couldn't get retro from my store. I get to Athletic Express (?) inColiseum Mall in Hampton VA. Well by time they let me in..his size was gone. So I figured hell, we shouldn't both suffer! I copped my size and headed home.I was gonna pay him back the following Friday. My mom or my girl who was in town for the weekend didn't believe he would go for that story. So my girl copsthe pair from another store for me before he got to my crib.

I still laugh about it but he always says we wouldn't be friends if his size hadn't gotten copped.

what's up with everybody trying to be funny.
every thread in niketalk has about 3 people on every page talking about how bad the thread is with all the Fail comment and pics.


btw nice story, allso not the best i've heard but it's always cool to read a personal story

I think he meant to post your story. Well here's one of mine. It was the cool grey 3's. Will was working at the store at the time and let me cut rightin front of everyone just minutes before release and there was a line of about 40 heads.

There used to be a time when Niketalk was the complete opposite of ISS. In the days when people knew better than to start a thread like this on this forum.Instead of being flamed for 5 or 6 pages on Niketalk, they would've just logged on to ISS where this type of sh*t is accepted. What happened? Who left thegates open?
