Hate to say it, but you are correct. Most serious runners won't touch anything from Nike, especially if you require something extra like stability trainers. Nike's offerings suck in that department. Their focus is fashion over function.

I completely agree. I run a lot and use Brooks running shoes.

Asics, Saucony, or Mizuno. I currently run in my Mizuno Enigma's and I love them
