This will be my very first website and I need advice on who to go with. I was initially going to go through godaddy, but I found an "antigodaddy" site and it looks as if they are the eBay/paypal of hosting.

Any advice will be appreciated

You only pay for what you actually use as far as bandwidth goes, so it's very ideal for people starting their first website.

Way cheaper than paying monthly for something that you probably won't even use to its maximum potential.

I paid $10 for the domain name last year and have paid $0.01-$0.03 a day since then which totals out to roughly $5.

It's going to be webstore selling spices, teas, and coffee. And some flour too.

I won't be making it myself. When the time was right, I was going to either hire an NTer or find someone through elance/freelancer.

Edit: Thanks metiQlous, I'll def check them out.

Hands down the best hosting service imo. Moderately priced, good user interface, and GREAT customer service.

Use that and WordPress with the WooCommerce plugin or theme and you'll be good.

Also, If you're hiring someone legit to do this they'll most likely have their own hosting that they resell that they'll suggest you use, so none of this may even matter. :lol
