Looking for an opinion from PEOPLE THAT HAVE HEARD BOTH, which album is better lyrically...not overall, just lyrically

Both came out in 2004...both are considered classics,

Thoughts?

FWIW I think Death is Certain is better lyrically, but CD is just too nice overall to probably say its a better album

Exactly how I feel. I absolutely LOVE both albums, but lyrically, how could you not go with Royce here?

This has to be the weirdest comparrison I've ever seen on NT...

- Tical.

@++...what made u compare this

... really tho, this gotta be like some hidden Royce appreciation post. I'd rather listen to CD, its the last true classic to me, best album since itdropped...but fareal like, lets be serious here...

But DAMN....Royce in his prime over Kanye production in his prime...beautifu, laced that N' with some straight MOTOWN ****...we shoulda seen more, wouldabeen numerous classics to come out that connection.

D.I.C.

NO question.
College Dropout's beats would tip the scales if that were the question.......but it isn't.

While we are at it, why not compare every 2004 hip hop album together to not make this seem so out of place.

Shoulda asked which was the better all around album. I woulda struggled to answer that question.

Lyrically this can not be argued. Like not at all. This isn't even a matter of opinion.

Ok so which ones better overall

I got into an arguement with PMac that Royce was better than his 2nd favorite rapper...who he said was Kanye

Then I told him Death is Certain is a classic and better lyrically than College Dropout...he couldn't dare believe this
