Better quality for car audio: FM Transmitter or Tape Adapter Vol. IM POOR

SO NT I have an ipod and I plan to listen to in my car

thing is Im too broke to get a deck so its either between a FM Transmitter or a tape adapter thingy

Which one is better for quality

I use a tape adaptor.. Its decent. My friend has an FM transmitter in her car and it sounded

If you're going to use one at least make it yourself so the signal is stronger (Might be illegal though)

tape adapter, if you working with the ipod then your good. I got a 04 gs300 with no navi or aux so thats what I have to do and between the stock EQ and ipodone I can get it hella clear

You can get a tape adapter at a 99 cent store. Cheapest FM transmitters I seen were at Mashalls or TJMaxx for like $10-15.
