Kendrick had the Internet ablaze right now. This wasn't even a diss. It was friendly fire. Kendrick knew exactly what he was doing when he recorded this great verse. Just wanted to have audiences paying attention to him while he develops his sophomore album. Sean and Elec came with it too. Man, I love Hip-Hop.

i don't see kendrick's name dropping as a diss, but rather just competition, which is great because the reactions have already been great & these next few days should be real entertaining

He's rapping better than everybody by default, cause all of his current younger competition are either wack, generic & boring, or people don't have their ear to them. Drake definitely isn't trash though, so I'll agree with that.

It's a good verse, but name calling is what gets people's attention more than anything. I bet there was a lot folks who woke up when he started rattling off names.
