Assuming Shannon is innocent...

I feel really bad for him. This has to be an out of body experience for him. I've had nearly traumatic, unbelievable experiences before...if i was in Shannon's position, this would certainly be that.

in theory this is a sound axiom/heuristic & in hindsight man really made a turrible choice if he hasn’t done what is being accused…but these type relationships (where the imbalance is so lopsided) aren’t uncommon & don’t typically end in extortion/lawsuits.

what does this mean really given his status? what women really sufficiently would meet that standard for him as older guy, most professional women are kinda out because they tend have their own schedule & can’t be on his time, then it’s not likely they really inhabit the same spaces, don’t think unc would be on dating apps so most women he encounters are at random based on attraction, supposedly he met this one at the gym

This chick was running game the minute she decided to call a lawyer instead of call 911 after all the harm Shannon caused her…….ALLEGEDLY. Instead of looking to get justice she prefers to try to get a check because Shannon was so bad to her….ALLEGEDLY.

At the end of the day a woman can tarnish a man’s reputation and legacy with a false claim and go get a shakedown lawyer to try and come up, which is what appears to be happening with Shannon. I’m glad he’s fighting back at least and setting the record straight.

At 37, I’m not messing with anyone below the mid-20s. Young adults are too lost and spontaneous for me. Not saying that they’d try to hem me up, just their mindset in general is ******* annoying. He made a stupid decision, there’s too many women out there that have it together and prefer to have fun and be with older dudes.

Shannon should have completely stopped messing with chicks in their 20’s when he was in his mid 30’s even into his active football career at best. There’s a worlds difference from where he’s currently at to where she is.

He should have gotten that out of his system by now. At this stage in his life and his career he should be with a professional woman, or someone he knows or been knew that has some skin in the game. There’s a reason why most successful business men are married or at least in long term relationships……it shows a since of stability. Can’t be out here running around looking crazy with that Nick Cannon or Shannon Sharpe mentality, that’s bad for business.

Also, if that initial gym story is true on how they met…..he’s even worse off than I thought. Gentlemen….NEVER lead with money when meeting a female. Wrong tactic, wrong strategy, and wrong business move. He had sucker written all over his forehead and was cool with it. Completely disappointed in him.

This is it right here. Either he was trying to "go back" and get what he always wanted but was to scared(you know his country *** was scared of white girls when he was younger) or he's at that age where he's trying to verify the little youth he has left by messing with younger women. As someone who is also still dating at an older age, I get it. I does feel more financially astute to just go ahead and "make an agreement" with someone but not with a 20 year old. I believe that Shannon has some trauma from his childhood that is causing him to make these decisions. I don’t know how the young people date nowadays but I’m glad that I’m happily married and not in this cesspool. I’m younger than Shannon and I have nothing in common with my 20 something year old niece and nephew. I love them but I’m too old for what makes that generation happy so Shannon was an easy mark.
