I have the game I seen my brother play it, it looks cool the combos and stuff I'm not into fighting games that much, so I wouldn't know what to tellyou.

Try renting it first but it's a must have if your a fan of Guilty Gear or fighting games. The game is really fast & fun especially online

probably the most important thing to worry about. beautiful looking game though

If you like fighters, its a must. 2-D fighters to me seem outdated, but a lot of people still love them. Just read the reviews, its getting high scores acrossthe board.

if you've never played guilty gear, it'll take some getting used to.

once you get past the learning curve though, it's a pretty sick game.

Easily the best looking fighter out on the market now. Also easily the worst fighting game for a newcomer into fighting games. The game pretty much requiresyou to know how every character works to be successful in it and each character plays completely different from one another. It would be acceptable is playingtruly casual against some friends, but any kind of seriousness to this game requires dedication

Buy it, its the best fighting game to have come out in years. Seriously.
Mini Review:
To start off, this game has amazing 2D graphics with HD backgrounds, so its pretty nice on the eyes. Also for a fighting game, the english voice acting ispretty damn good. The storyline is also deep for a fighting game, every character in story mode have different paths you can take to get different endings. Nowfor the thing that makes this game shine, its gameplay. Every character in this game plays differently from each other, you won't find any clones like Kenand Ryu in SF, every characters simply plays differently since all of their drive abilities are unique to themselves. The gameplayis also fast but not as fastas Guilty Gear so the learning curve for this game isn't too steep. Easy to pick up for beginners and friends to enjoy casual play but the gameplay is deepenough that pulling off most of the combos you see the pros do will take some time to practice but it feels rewarding when you're able to pull off allthose crazy and flashy combos. Even though this game only has twelve characters its pretty balanced; every character can be played in high level tournementsif your interested in that and its not one sided like Marvel Vs Capcom 2 where storm, magneto, and senteniel dominates the game. Its not like SF3 Third strikewhere Chun Li is god, or like SFIV where Sagat has his own tier. So to conclude this review. Get the game, its pretty damn fun.
Hakumen is

This is a must buy then. IMO it's better than SFIV

IMO SFIV is really bland and it was disappointing to me, the hype killed it. Also the characters are so boring and the storyline for all the pastgames was thrown out the window with the revival of Gouken and Gen. I also didn't like the idea of reusing all of the old characters and only having like 4new comers. I personally liked it when they gave all the OG characters the boot in SF3 and introduced an entirely new cast of characters. I would'veactually liked SFIV more if they included some 3rd strike characters. Gameplay wise it feels slow for me. I didn't like how they took out the parrys fromSFIII and put in the focus system, though I gotta admit, I was impressed by the focus attack style of play when I first played, but then it got really bland tome after about 2 days.

well i don't really care about the story just the fighting. i agree it would be crack if they made it faster. i guess i need to play blazbluea little bit more though. it seems decent i just don't like the play style.

My housemate got me into Guilty Gear so it was a must to get Blazblue. I have it on the 360 and its fun. I'm not that good at it yet (mechanics-wise..instant blocking, counter slash, cancelling...) but I can pull off some basic combos with a few characters. What I really appreciate about the game is thateach character is truly unique and deadly if mastered. But you really gotta dedicate put some time into it.

For those who have the game do you think the using the right analog stick for specials is cheap? I'm on a 360 and it is insanely hard to link specials intocombos without it..

It's good for beginners to learn but it won't really help you get any better with linking combos because your fingers won't get used to doingfaster movements. Online mode also disables the right analog stick so you have to get used to doing all the supers manually.
360 control is

for fighting games.

Props my man. You were able to play that filth for more than an hour

First few hours will be a ridiculously huge learning curve. This is like no fighting game you've ever played before.

Once you get over that learning curve, you'll begin to realize how solid of a fighter this joint really is.

And King of Fighters XII got pushed back to the 3rd - 4th week of July, so you might have to wait a bit.

Im happy that this year is a good year for fighting games. First SF IV then BlazBlue, up next we have KOF, MVC 2 then Tekken 6. Feels like my joystick died andwent straight to fighting games heaven.

saying blazblue is better than sfiv is blasphemy... capcom and the sf franchise will always dominate the fighting game genre and serious fighting gamecompetitions.

for those saying sfiv is bland u have no idea how deep the game actually is.
