You can get a pretty decent one for around 100$. If you wanna spend a little bit more I would get the ones that have built in wi-fi so you can stream netflix and what not.

Considering Sony made the market, I would go with Sony. Check out the Best Buy add, they almost always have them listed right around what you want to spend. It also depends on what you want it to do, they are pretty cheap right now depends on capability.

I dunno the new PS3's are money. They have BluRay, Netflix, and I like to use it to play movies I d/l on a usb thumb drive, and stick the thumb drive in the PS3. They even have the TV controller to use the Blu Ray. I barely use if for games anymore lol.

I got the Samsung BD-D5700/ZA from sears during black Friday. I love it. Wifi built in and it makes your DVDs look amazing. I got it for $79 on black firday. Im sure you can get it for $100 or a little more.
