I am looking to have a bonsai tree in my apartment, I am new to this and was wondering if anyone on here has done this before?

All I know about bonsai trees is what I learned from movies.




With that said, I know nothing of the subject, but am interested in learning more.

i bought one for my girlfriend couple years ago

I bought one from a kiosk in the mall. It lived for like 2 years before it died while I was on vacation.

pretty cool. my room smelled better when I had it.

There's many different types. I go with my girlfriend every year to a Japanese museum for a lantern ceremony and she usually buys one or two. She's trying to learn how to train the branches. I think they ate pretty cool.

You can buy one for 12 donuts or you can have Akira plant, prune, and re-pot the bonsai tree

bonsai tree store halfway through this music video is the spot....they have the exact age of each tree listed on them. I want to get one as old as me.

how much maintenance is required... can i just let the branches do their own thing?
