Someone sent me this email and I cant figure the @@%* out 

,  there is an Excel spreadsheet attached that is PW protected with the right answer so if you get it right I can tell you:

It is believed that if you can figure out this problem you have an IQ over 120:

If    2+3 = 10
      7+2= 63
      6+5= 66
      8+4= 96

THEN
     9+7= ?????

Yeah, it's 144 - you add them together then multiply by the first number.

(9+7) x 9 = 144.

all you gotta do is add both numbers and then multiply by the first one.

2+3= 5*2=10

7+2=9*7=63

and so on.

Answer = 144

144....i got it by squaring the first number and adding the multiple of both of them

(9*9)+(9*7)=144

its the same thing as adding the 2 and multiplying by the first number, its just how you distribute

I figured out just by staring at the numbers over for 5 minutes.

no one here has an IQ over 200.

Average is like 100.

Heres one that will take you forever or you will get right off the bat.

A teacher was having trouble controlling the class so he decided to give the class a math problem that would keep them preoccupied until the day was over. The teacher told the students to get the sum of every number 1+2+3+4+5.....all the way until a million. Thinking it was nearly impossible to get the answer in the anything less then acouple hours, a student got the answer within 5 minutes. Can you?
