Breaking Bad > Weeds

I haven't watched an episode of Weeds and just starting season 3 of Breaking Bad and I'm pretty confident saying that Breaking Bad is the better show.

I watch both but Weeds 1-4 is perfect, I'd easily take it over Breaking Bad. Both good shows so not even mad at people picking BB.

i watched the whole 4 seasons of bb in like a week and a half. theres some holes in the story but i think its one of the best shows ive followed.

my sis told me weeds was good but i dont take her opinion too seriously cause she watches crap. im sure its alright but im not in a rush to see what its all about. i would rather start up the wire.

Why is this a comparison? They're completely different shows that have one thing in common: suburban parents getting involved in drugs....one is a drama and the other is a comedy w/ a satirical tone, thats like saying Saving Private Ryan > Tropic Thunder

let me start by saying i have seen both shows in their entirety, and while i enjoyed watching  them both i,must say this is an apples and oranges comparison.
weeds = comedy

breaking bad = drama

people only compare them because of their significant correlation with drugs being sold under the radar in white america.

Weeds in its first seasons was extremely well written and deserves credit. Breaking Bad on the other hand is probably one of the best tv shows I have ever seen.
In my opinion Walter White is a much more believable character than Nancy Botwin, when you compare the two. They're both criminals by circumstance, but Walt's becoming of a gritty, smart, calculated criminal is so much more interesting and believable than Nancy.

I enjoy BrBa more than The Wire. Watching the Wire felt like a chore at times... especially during seasons 2 and 5.

The Wire is a fantastic show, though, very well-written and realistic. That dude David Simon does NOT mess around.

I had never watched Weeds. Got caught up on seasons 1-5 in the past couple of weeks and I have to say that Nancy Botwin is a major +#!+. Imagine being one of her sons. Damn.
