Every time something like this happens there are conflicting news reports, because stations race each other to bring the audience "exclusives"

People got nuts talking about conspiracy theories.

Then when the dust settles, come to find out there is a logical explanation to everything, and the explanation usually begins with "news station incorrectly reported....."
