Bucket hat thread

I never stopped liking bucket caps. Don't eem care what anyone thinks. As long as it isn't one of those fuzzy LL Cool J circa 1987 joints.

Now that I think about it
And after seeing all of these pics

NYC originated the bucket hat trend. The late 80s drug scene - early 90s rap scene in NY really popularized the mainstream wearing of bucket hats

:rollin

You think bucket hats started as a trend in the late 80's?

:eek :lol

Bruh, you are hilarious.

This gimmick is funny sometimes, though.

thats what I thought as well. why don't you drop some knowledge on us bruvva

The Figueroa one is the one I keep hearing about.

...it's the truth though

I may be a few years off but for the most part I'm right.

Give me proof that what I'm saying is wrong.
When did you see bucket hats get POPULARIZED in BLACK culture?

Earliest I can remember is Rappers Delight..then goes on to run DMC, LL etc.
Blew up in the late 80s and 90s
Am I wrong?

Or were you laughing at the part about NYC starting the trend? Because judging from the facts, that's true as well. I'm just saying though :-/

I actually said to myself....."if this dude even mentions Gilligan....I'm done"

:lol

Fidel Castro wore a bucket hat in the 60's. It's funny you idiots think they were popularized in any other era.

I copped a Ralph Lauren bucket hat last fall.  I like it.

This was 10 minutes of googling.

You wasted 10 minutes to prove me right

Ain't no body looked at them pictures then went out and bought bucket hats

Pay attention to my original statements

Nobody looked at those pictures and bought stuff because it was just regular life not some fashion shoot. Those were mainstream people wearing Urban/Black fashion before the 1980's not models.

I proved you wrong.
