Sushi Factory is hit or miss depending on crowd and service. Because they have two locations (Milpitas and South San Jose), they often mix their staff with the two locations. They have your standard rolls, nigiri, and hand rolls, but nothing outrageous. I would recommend sitting at the bar since service tends to beOriginally Posted by BIOKICKZ

Anything like this in the bay area?
theres quite a bit. sushi 85 in mountain view, sushi factory in milpitas, and sushi infinity in san jose are run by the same owners i think. there's also ninikimono in newark. kokyo's in downtown hayward serves buffet style, but they make the sushi right in front of you while you look for other food to eat.
I've been meaning to check out Sushi Factory after seeing some of their items on Bodybuilding.com's Meals Eating Now thread. How is that spot? Do you get to order anything on the menu typically from a more "traditional" Japanese restuarant?
I might have to check out Kokyo's too since I just started working in Hayward.
If you're in San Francisco, I haven't been to these spots but I know of them, there's Sushi Hunter in North beach (around $26 a person) and there's Masu in San Mateo (around $12 a person).

and Fujis in Davis is the shizz, Soft Shell crab is off the hook. and its pretty cheap, but its always packed
i havent been there in like two months, but last time i went it was pretty much the same.
and for the record, its really rare to find a legit all you can eat sushi buffet thats ran by Japanese people. Most if not all are ran by Koreans, Japanese sushi is more serious in a way
fuji's in davis was co-owned by chinese and vietnamese people. the vietnamese owners left and opened davis sushi buffet. both taste exactly the same and are the same price. i preferred davis sushi buffet because it was a little bigger and cleaner than fujis.
