It felt so strange for it to be so serious during that stand-off, I was really uncomfortable... so used to Hank sleeping with 4 women an episode
It ended awesome, I was really thinking Karen was finally going to move on, just as Hank had an epifhany, but then she cooked him breakfast
Next week's should be good, I love the Dean. "You're a girl whisperer"

I'm upset it's ending already, but this has been a fantastic season. This show gets better each year. Tonight's episode looks like it's goingto be really deep.

i agree with all this. Elton John song and the cinematography. Damn! Episode had my attention but that ending really grasped my attention, if you getwhat I'm saying. Wow.

This whole episode screamed "Love doesn't exist." God what an amazing finale to a great season. Californication has officially become the bestwritten show on television.

What a terrific ending.
I don't know how to do spoilers so don't read ahead if you haven't seen it yet.
It was so abrupt, sudden, and just as soon as things were going well for Hank, everything was ripped away. It's such a powerful move by the writers to notgive him his happy ending. First season he got his family back, second season he had to let Karen go again, and now just as he was ready to move back, his pastcame back to bite him in the $*! once again.
I would complain that Mia and her manager came back and shook things up too suddenly and fast, but that's how life is, things happen and before you caneven blink it's over. Hank had no choice, he couldn't go along with it, and he snapped and got into the fight.
All of the characters are written so well. Even Mia, who seemed to be nothing but a pain in Hank's $*! and mess up his life, is still a character with agood heart even though she does bad things, she's a lot like Hank.
That end conversation with Becca was well done as well, she had to tell Hank that he didn't ruin her, a great conversation.
