Can i get a run down with celebrities getting away with the law?

Im in an argument with a friend right now.

He thinks when theres evidence that a celebrity broke the law they alaways get nailed and put away or whatever.

Im thinking that Celebrities get away with everything because well their a big named celebrity.

Who's right?

Can i get examples?

i don't think they necessarily get away with the law all the time..

..but i do think that with the money they possess they get LIGHTER punishments than the normal everyday person would.

Basically find any celebrity who has been caught with cocaine, gotten a DUI, assault, anything like that, they basically get off with the lightest possiblesentence. Pay a fine, do some community service, maybe a day in jail.

1) Stallworth wasn't in the wrong!
2) He is getting suspended by the league indefinitely
3) Cant drive in Florida ever again in his life
4) Has a crazy amount community service to do and house arrest
5) And had to settle with dude family $$$$$$

Its not like he isn't sorry either dude was real remorseful about what happened too! He could of hit dude and speed away but he actually stopped and calledpolice.

He killed a man. In my eyes, that is deserving of a lot more punishment. Regular dudes who do what Stallworth did get WAY more time. Which is thepoint of this thread. Celebrities get away with a lot of stuff

yea but they knew if it went to court they could have lost on grounds of entrapment. TIP's lawyers took the deal because their also was achance he could have went down because he was a felon. But the da knew entrapment would have been brought up
