Can I go to the beach with a brand new tattoo??

I just got a new tattoo yesterday but I'm planning on going to the beach in the morning. I don't plan on getting in the water cause I know that canmess it up. Will I be good if I just wear a short sleeve shirt that covers my tattoo or will the sun exposure still mess it up?

If its that fresh of a tat, do not let it get direct exposure to sunlight for a long period of time. However, If you have it covered with a shirt you will befine, just make sure you put A&D on it b4.

Yes the sunlight helps bake the tatoo in and make it more vibrant especially after you splash it with the sea water.

make sure you dont get any sand on or in it either. sand has a habit of giving you some real nasty infections...

DO NOT apply sunblock on your new tat unless it's fully healed. Just make sure it's well moisturized and it's completely covered.
