Now that you mention it I should probably learn how to cook since I'm home every day anyway.

I can make some great entrées and deserts I learned from watching Masterchef Australia but I can't make full courses.

Maybe it's because I'm not extremely into cooking but I'm struggling to think of a real Belgian dish. We're not really our own cuisine, we take a lot of influence from the surrounding countries, mainly France. Here's some examples I could think of that are traditional Belgian dishes:

Gentse Waterzooi, or simply waterzooi. Idk what to call it in English. Its literal translation would be Ghent water mess. 
It's a sort of stew that originated in Ghent.

There's various recipes for it. It's commonly prepared with fish but chicken is becoming increasingly popular too.

Paling in't groen (Eel in da green) is another original and popular dish.

Rabbit a la gueuze is also a popular Belgian dish.

Moules-frites (mussels & fries) is another essential Belgian dish. When it's mussel season, everyone is trying to get the best mussels to prepare a moules-frites dish. You have to be fast because the biggest and best mussels will get snagged as soon as they're on the market. There's various ways to prepare them, this wiki article contains some of the most common ones.

I'm black but i know how to cook it well. Basically just brown it and make sure that it's not undecooked. The red coloring can confuse you on whether its done enough or not. The juice that chorizo sausage produces makes for good flavoring. One of my favorite snacks is mixing Chorizo with some beef ramen noodles. It may be on that prison cuisine tip but man is it good

pretty much
treat it like you would ground beef/turkey...brown it (some like it crisy).
no need to season with salt
mix with scrambled eggs


every now and then i make chorizo lettuce wraps for dinner. dice up some tomato, with some cabbage, and a nice salsa

i care about what i put in my body to a certain extent. I try to cook as much as possible.

I think it would behoove everyone to know how to make a solid steak. Nothing better than impressing a date with an amazing, restaurant-quality steak dinner while saving a few bucks in the process. I honestly refuse to eat steak now unless it's from a very reputable restaurant.

My girl won't finish her steaks when she goes out now, saying how mine is always better.

The cuts they use in regular restaurants aren't great, and then you have the chefs rushing to make it or don't make it to the correct wellness. She gets hers medium-well and they always make it well-done. I always tell her that's what she gets for eating steak more than Medium.
