Can you ride a horse into a wall?

I mean I know you can ride em and make em do dumb +%*@, but at the same time horses still gotta think somewhat for themselves (like when they buck their rider off or stand up on their rear legs in protest) so can you ride one real fast and straight towards a wall and hit that wall before it decides to not do what you tellin it to do?
(been playin too much red dead lately)

word, in the game itll stop if you goin slow, but if you go at the cliff real fast and jump before you get there you and the horse'll go flying... thinkin horses might be dumb enough to do that same !@!% in real life

Doubt it...horses are really intelligent.

It would probably stop a few feet before the wall and let you go flying off into it.
