So after getting home and putting the TV on CP24 I noticed they were doing a segment and a dude was demonstrating an online web application from QuickTax that will EASILY do your T1/T4 taxes for you.

Get this out of the way folks! The sooner you do it the sooner you get your money back. I was able to do mine in no time. The website also has a feature called 'netfile' that will send your tax return to the CRA electronically. Hope this helps for folks just trying to do their simple T4.

Quicktax is a great service. It's free if you make under a certain amount ($20k I believe), so it's perfect for students. I've used it for the past 5 years or so, while I was still in school. No complaints, and as its name implies, it is very quick (and easy).

If you use it in conjunction with netfille and direct deposit, you'll get your return in no time.
