Can't believe such a famous picture was taken so close to where I live.

i think everyone in the world has a similar hill by their house b

I've done the research, that is the exact hill. Napa California.

In essence its not about the hill, its about the notoriety of the wallpaper. It is so recognized and burned into our retinas. The fact that I live like 5 minutes from it, boggles my mind.

Pretty cool man.I always feel like a stalker when I see girls that live in los Angeles post where they are in Hollywood the free way. Like yo. I'll be there in 10minutes don't move.

I'm not sure if I'm buying that it's the most famous photo ever taken or that it's been viewed by billions.

Windows XP hasn't been the most popular Windows OS for a few years now, and the worlds PC and internet usage grown exponentially since then too.

Cool none the less, I was up at Sonoma State last weekend.

450 million copies of Windows XP have been sold, that doesn't count the pirated copies and the fact that just cause you don't own it doesn't mean you haven't seen it. . I'd say it's pretty darn popular.

XP was literally everywhere in its prime. It certainly isn't the most famous and easily recognizable photo of all time, but it sure has been seen by a ton of eyes.
