Quite a bit of irony in this thread. The capital punishment enthusiasts seem to be happy that this guy suffered a long agonizing death. Do you know what would be an even longer, more agonizing death? A life sentence.

If costs are important to you when trying to justify your emotions and align your moral compass, life without parole is actually substantially cheaper than the death penalty.
