ok here's my story. my car (toyota aristo 3.0v) got hit by some dude on a motor bike a few months ago. clearly his fault but i was getting ready to sellthe car for cheap so i popped the harlem shake for a quick minute. dude on the bike even bought me and my passenger drinks from a nearby store, gave a bow andapologized. no big deal, it happens, insurance will take care of it. ok japanese law is weird as hell; the mere fact that i had a bigger vehicle, my car wasmoving and i was making a turn somehow made it 10% my fault when in reality i didnt do anything wrong, just driving my car and obeying all the traffic laws. soin the end its 90%/10%. insurance scam time. so i have to pay 10% of the cost to fix his bike while he pays 90% of mine. as good as it sounds i think its BSthat he doesnt have to pay 100%. 10% would be around $350 but i got the word from the insurance company that if they pay the $350 my insurance cost will go up70% for the next period
what kind of crap is that? how am i taking a Lfor getting in an unavoidable accident that wasnt my fault? is this how car insurance roll in the states??
