I like the Lexus IS series but they kinda seem like girl cars to me.

Don't get the Maxima. It's not a luxury car, but just a nice car with luxury items. I had an '07 and sold it to get a TL.

My suggestion was a 2008 Acura TL but how about...

Definitely a head turner, luxurious interior, and starts at around $27k.

Wait till the new Hyundai Genesis models come out, then scoop up an 09. Price should be down in the high 20s.A lot of power, good aesthetics, looks nice thanks to inspiration from other cars

and has enough room to fit in comfortably. And you dont have to worry about the OD expensive repair/maintenance costs that come with Euro cars.

Unless you have a ton of cash, Id avoid stuff like BMW and Mercedes, even used. Maintenace/repair costs on those things are insane...just to warn you. I testdrove a Genesis and it wasn't too bad. Id try that if I were you. Make sure it is the 6-cyl though. The turbo 4 is garbage...not neraly enough power forhow heavy the car is. Car doesn't have the greatest interior either. VW CC or Jetta TDI might not be bad choices either.
