hey guys im going on a carnival cruise aboarding the carnival spirit ship....going to cabo san lucas and also puerto vallarta.......has anyone been on these, what to expect?

It's cool make sure u pay an extra 25 to dine in the fancy restaurants.getting drunk and going upstairs to get pizza in the middle of the night ftw I had fun in mine

are the basketball courts on the ship lowered for kids or is it regulation? and do people play on there?.....and also what are some good strip clubs out in mexico around cabo

Yo OP if you drink you can do this call your travel agent and purchase some Bon voyage Liquor (bottles). My girl and I did this and we had two bottles waiting in our room and we already had the unlimited drink card so it was easy to mix drinks in the room and they lasted a good bit through out the trip. (7-day cruise). If you wanna save a little this is a dope trick my travel agent told me about.

Nope. It's regulation. And yes people play. We got alot of good games in on my cruise.
I have no idea about the strip clubs.

I went on the Carnival Fantasy with my gf in September to the Bahamas...It was my first cruise and I had so much damn fun...You get to just chill all day and not worry about anything...I would recommended going to all of the little shows/contests they have...I can't wait to go on another one

You are allowed to bring on bottle of booze per person. Put one in each person's check-in luggage... put one in each person's carry-on... you can bring on your own sodas (carry 'em on), otherwise you gotta pay.
You can pay for excursions at the port and not pay the ridiculous prices through Carnival.
Didn't do the dinning upgrade but sounds interesting.
During your meals (especially all you can eat lobster night), don't let the server rush you and force you out off the table... stay, enjoy your meal and eat what YOU want. You can always order seconds of things!
As said, don't forget your sunglasses.
