i hope youre right, because on most of the CDPs the quality was a stepdown from the older retro/OGs

Its only a 1 year difference, doubt the quality dipped at all.

I've balled in both - both are stellar. AJ 22s are one of my favs and go-tos....

There's only a years difference between the shoes. imo the Countdown XX2s shouldn't even be considered as a retro, to me they're OGs, just in adifferent CW.
They have the same tech & materials so they should perform the same.

But as usual "sneaker elitism" comes into play & everybody hates on them just because they were released as part of the CDPs
