uhhhh...maybe cuz he plans on wearing these alot!? I dunno..just a hunch.
As far as I'm concerned, these are comfortable, and would make a good pair of shoes to wear casually. Just make sure you don't scuff up the light grey suede on these.

IMHO the quality is so so...
its easy to scuff the toe area and the sides.
its not really a comfortable shoe.
it comes off as sorta flimsy.
aesthetically, these are dope tho. i feel like the older they get the more they look like the OG. the differences in color between the retro and the OG are slight when DS but as it gets worn and ages the color seems to change (specifically talking about the toe area and the sides).
thats just me tho. just trying to give you a more realistic (at least as i see it) opinion on these.
