I heard they started paying less per question now is that true? Seems like a lot of work for a little money.

.02 cents per question, but I usually always send the first question, and if I cant understand I have "Please clarify" ready to paste.

I was a guide for a summer a few years ago when I was like 18. Back then, a guide made like $0.09/minute of searching, and could make a max of $0.90/search. I was straight abusing that website; when a user came up with a search query, I didn't even bother searching, I just milked the clock until I couldn't get paid anymore for that search, then I'd pass that search session off to another guide.

I had my "search" method down to a science; I had all kinds of generic phrases and responses ready to be copied and pasted.

I made about $1,000 that summer.

So was it worth it? I have a friend who is a chacha guide.
But I'm too lazy to be doing all that.
