I called the number but its like the associates dont know $@%% and keep dancing around the question...would getting an overdraft fee put a blemish on mycredit? how long do i have to get the balance out of the negative before i start getting notices in the mail?

if you deposit money in it early enough they can waive it. or just go to the bank and ask them to waive it.

no i want to over draw it for about 3 weeks...i have a chance to double my money and i want to go all in...i just want to know what happens when your accountstays overdrafted for over a certain period of time...i can have the money back in by a month

You should get a letter soon... its 34 dollars and they give you 10 days to pay it off.. oh and the most you can probably overdraft is 100$ let me look for theletter from my last overdraft

your bank account has no bearing on your credit. The only time that it would affect your credit report is if you had a credit line linked to it and you failedto make the monthly payment and if you didn't have enough in your account to cover it. If your account is overdrawn too long, they will simply close itand hand you over to a collections agency. At that point, it would affect your credit history, but not while you had the account with them.

Hope that fully answers your question.

LOL If you're planning to do that, it's probably the worst thing you can do unless you're taking out thousands of dollars. Not onlywill you be hit with the overdraft fee, but after several days, they will hit you with a daily overdraft fee (usually apx. $5-7/day) until it's paid off. This will stay on your record with the bank for a year and you will not be able to ask any special favors of them (like waive your OD fees).

Is this your first chase overdraft ever? because you are allowed ONE FREE overdraft once every year... so if you havent had any overdraft this year... yourgood money
