I can appreciate both.

I prefer NY style, I love a good tasting crust, and it isn't like NY pizza can't have toppings either.

But I also enjoy thick, deep dish pizza as well.

But I like NY better.
 
Anyone notice that the giordano's box says chosen best by NY TIMES???? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

I have had NY style pizza, not the authentic. It's just a big @@@ thin slice of pizza. We got that too at too many spots. The deep dish is the best. Andwhen we do go with the thin crust...we got the pieces cut in squares so it seem like you got so much more.

Giordanos, Ginos East, Lou Malnattis, Beggars, Waldocooneys ( a southwest side fav) are the best out.
 
I dont think you can call it pizza if you eat it with a knife and fork

Who ever is out in San Diego Area, i can't remember the name of this pizzeria with Jumbo slices, best slice i had in awhile

I have never been to NYC so I can't judge NY style pizza, but I've had deep dish in Chicago and it is by far the bestpizza I've ever had.
