Yea you gotta put St. Alfreds down and Self Conscious. I have a new clothing line too, but its just starting out if your interested let me know. Good luck withyour vid

I wouldn't necessarily add belmont army.... if you ask any of the employee's...their knowledge of street wear isn't as vast as those who work atthe other boutiques....

other names that would be good is corey from leaders, zo from fashion geek, any of the employees at STA, and perhaps artists from the"Chicago-movement"(nigel, m$m, etc)

i think this doc would have been fantastic...two years ago...

since then many documentaries and interviews have taken place with alot of these guys and kind of defined what streetwear WAS at it's highest point in theunderground culture.

street and sneaker culture has been watered down temporarily.

in terms of brands- undrcrwn and crooks? those brands- in the eyes of many, and true fashionistas, are dead because theyre on karmaloop.

it would be more interesting to see how different boutiques manage their own brands: sta, leaders, jugrnaut. how do they design, market, etc.

Not to sound cocky but..me lol. I seen trends come and go..shops having their grand opening and closing.. and did coverage for Chicago sneaker culture for 3years straight. I've put on many people including Melo on MSNBC Swoosh Documentary and contributed to the IDEA of his shop name "Kuts n Kicks"when I named the article with that specific name when I covered "the hot spot". I've put together many Dunkxchanges in the past and contributedto this years sneaker pimps. Ive also worked with Sneakerfiles and my name grew through out the years of dedication to this culture. I worked at SelfConscious when it was at its prime and now im at AKIN on 1313th south halsted. Ill pm u..

Commercialism kills.... I even hate the term sneakerhead... We all like shoes end of story...why do this?...Its bad enough they specifically make Shirts thatsay "Real heads don't wear fakes" cmon now...lets stop with these documentry videos, rap songs, etc and just keep it simple and back tobasics...just keep it on the feet cuz when it comes down to it, its all about the SHOES... I been into this %%*% way before this was a @#!#*@ so called"culture" I just simply liked shoes instead of toys as a kid and I have plenty of sneakers like Imelda Marcos...and even that don't legitimize my@%% nor am I lookin for any stardom... What the %%!# is next a sneaker movie?...Whats funny to me is these sneaker battles...#!$??? Make a documentry on thegeniuses behind the designs of our beloved sneakers not the **@%+$! who distribute em....wear em or obsessed over em...
