I saw a commercial for the album on MTV I believe.
I hear commercials for it on Hot 97.

In the office now and just looked. Dude has the #27 Urban record and #41 Rhythm record in the country with "Love Sosa" and both are trending up.
My point was, none of this strikes me as little to no promotion.

Dude literally refused to do 106 & Park, and I'm sure a number of other radio stations, so as far as lack of promo part of that is on him. With that said, I still saw commercials on BET and VH1 for his album. Besides do you know how hard it is to promo a anti-social 17 y.o who acts like he can't even talk? Dude aint vocal like Soulja Boy was.

Radio doesn't play 'independent' music, other than Kanye's remake(or w/e) you wouldn't be hearing him on the radio POINT BLANK without interscope.
