i'm looking into getting a tattoo of the taoist concept of "wu wei" on my wrist...

im guessing its read from top to bottom..like this

wuwei2.jpg

i'd just like to make sure it's correct if it's read from left to right because this is how i'd like it on my wrist. (the top character on theleft...the bottom character on the right)

thanks

that'd be cool if i was suicidal...but, i'm not

funny tattoo though..i guess

wu wei is a concept that involves knowing when to act and when not to act. "natural action" never forcing to do anything.

just check out wikipedia.

Another fail on your part.. Wiki is full of Bull Feces

smh...some of you guys are friggin haters.

i study taoism...so im not just taking some +#%+*@!% i read off of wiki.

jesus christ you guys

in Japanese it reads "idleness" fyi...

interesting, thank you. i think thats kind of the same idea though. wu-wei means things such as "calmness" and whatnot. so it might besynonymous with idleness

it's still going to make you look like every other lame with chinese/japanese tattoos who can't even read it.

you might study the concepts, but if it really meant something to you you'd probably learn how to actually read/write it before getting it permanentlyinked on you.
