CJ is going Top 10 in next yrs draft.

His Speed is outlandish. Good Hands. Good Hips, Above average Shake. Good Balance

Mid Season
570 yrds rushing. 5.1 ypc 4 Tubs
18 rec 270 yrds 2 Tubs
6 plays of 60 yrds or more
3 KR Tubs

what ya got
Beast or Bust?

I been a cj fan since his freshmen year

I'm go in the middle he has no problem going up the gut in college but you could say the same about Reggie at USC

Going to call bust. He is going to end up on a %+#+@% team, with swiss cheese for an offensive line and the likes of Josh Freeman, Jamarcus Russell, VinceYoung, Derek Andersen, etc. behind center. He is walking into a lose, lose situation.

I have to give CJ the benefit of the doubt (for his rushing numbers) because he has been playing behind a porous OL and sporadic QB play for his whole career.

And though he like to bounce outside, I have actually seen him TRY to turn it up the middle and get some tough yards, when necessary this year

And all things considered, I think he's the most talented of the 3 mentioned.

I'll go with beast. If he is used properly.

And if you compare their last season in college, Reggie broke outside way more than CJ. CJ sets up blocks better (that's something he still needs to workon though). And a lot of times, CJ has to bounce it outside out of necessity.

Ive thought about this a few times, my favorite college player....but I really cant call it. He really doesnt even have big games rushing in college, so whywould we believe he would become Chris Johnson on the next level?

Im more inclined to say Reggie Bush right now....

Where's he go?

Early picks should look something like, Cleveland, STL, KC, Oak, Det, Buffalo, San Fran thru Carolina, Seattle, Tenn, Washington.

Not STL, no Tenn, I don't think Det, No to San Fran, better not be Oak after drafting McFadden, Buffalo has bigger holes then running back, so that leaves,

Cleveland, KC, Seattle and Washington as possible destinations.

Depending on which of these 4 teams, I think he can be good, but Washington's line is garbage with no QB, Cleveland has Joe Thomas, but needs more and noQB, Seattle has an againg QB and a decent line, KC has a decent QB and needs more help on the line.

NONE of those situations spell early success, but if they get an extra player or two in the draft to help him out, and maybe a free agent or two, yeah, heshould be a solid back. He kicked the crap outta my team. I believe in the guy.

you think?

and IMO, Reggie isnt a Bust, just a complimentary player while Chris is a Star Center piece thats what I meant on that, for anyone whos got that miscontrud

^ Co-sign on Reggie. CJ will be a complimentary player as well (that's why I said "in between")...

& the Browns aren't drafting him with a top 1-3 pick.

Soscratch off CLE as a destination.

Is he a little bit in the MJD mold? That a fair comparison?

HELL NO. MJD is built like a mack truck. Completely different styles...

Naw not close to mo drew. Drew hits the holes like he is a big rb and doesn't bounce outside much.

Cj got more pure talent the Reggie? Eh

No.
MJD is a physical RB. MJD is just short. everything else about him spells Classic RB

From watching CJ the past couple of years, I'd say he's closer to Bush, but he's a better rusher between the tackles.

Reggie is a complimentary player, but was projected to be an all-time great by most, compared to some of the greatest to ever play. Joe Smith turned out to bea nice, solid player too, doesnt mean he isnt a bust. Being a bust doesnt mean you have to absolutely suck, its just a label of you not meeting loftyexpectations....

and I cant say CJ is more talented. Reggie had them stupid bench #'s and vert with him. Not saying CJ cant match that, but them Pro Day numbers to go alongwith what we saw on the field, eh, I'll wait to give him that light.

CJ is gonna go dumb at his pro-day / the combine like Bush.

And he's faster than Mr. Prez.

He's not an every down back and he's not a 20+ carry guy in the NFL.

I can see him as a poor man's Brian Westbrook in the NFL. He'll be a great threat on 3rd downs and as a pass catching RB because no LB or safety willbe able to cover him. But he's not going to be a 1,200+ yd guy by any means.

He is the most talented of the 3. He has more top speed than both and almost as nasty a first step as Chris Johnson. Spiller needs space thats why he is notthe natural RB Johnson is. Reggie stride is to long and he has no shake hes 3rd to me. Verdict? What we thought Reggie would be but not an everydown RB.

no way he's more talented than Bush.
He doesnt have Bush Hands
He's doesnt break as many tackles did in college

He's faster, I'll give u that, but hes not stronger nor as quick. and in tite spaces, Nuh uh.

Bust

I don't think he'll be able to run in between the tackles enough and his shake isn't great. Certainly not a Chris Johnson.

I don't think he can do as much as Reggie
