I look at a guy like Luis Castillo as an example...or is there a difference between "fessing up," and getting "caught" in the pre-draft process?
Can someone clarify that?
makes sense. how do you all think it'll affect their draft status? clearly they need to stop taking roids since they're on the radarnow...you think there's going to be a significant drop off in their ability?Originally Posted by d0nt w0rry about it

luis castillo sent a letter out to teams BEFORE the positive test was going to come out on him. he already knew teams were going to find out and he wanted to inform them before the tests came out.
because they aren't officially professionals yet, they won't be punished.
..at least that's how it was when the commish was paul tagliabue.

Coach Carroll has come to set the record straight.
Rumors have been circulating around the Internet today that USC linebackers Brian Cushing and Clay Matthews tested positive for steroids at the NFL Combine in February. Thing is, the report is fallacious, and Carroll is fighting back with the truth.
"These rumors are absolutely false," Carroll said this afternoon. "If they were found positive, Clay and Cush would have been notified three weeks ago, which they weren't, and all of the NFL teams would have been notified too, which they weren't."
Carroll said he spoke with the NFL testing service this morning and verified that both Cushing and Matthews are clean.
"They're both men of outstanding character and they never tested positive for anything here," Carroll said. "This is an major example of irresponsible reporting, and the site that published this report should be ashamed of themselves."

Taylor Mays...you're next
Taylor Mays struggles to keep his weight down. His dad was a defensive lineman in the NFL. nice try though.

I wouldn't be suprised if any athlete takes PEDs, but you guys talk reckless on this witch hunt. realize that just big some guy is big and works hard in the weight room doesn't mean he is on PEDs. PEDs help everything -- speed, recovery from injuries etc. Its not only the big guys you should watch out for.
oh yeah:
