Any advice. Im gonna be graduating this summer and don't know where to start. It seems like everywhere I go they say I should make a portfolio on their website and from past experience I know online job hunting isn't all that effective.

the school you graduated from should have a career center type place that can advise you

If you don't have a good relationship with the career services office at your school, you're slacking and will most likely be hurting upon graduation. Go over there ASAP.

online job hunting is hard, but a sneaker internet forum is the last place you should be seeking career advice on how to get employed. every college dedicates full time resources for career placement. Hell your professors would be bigger help. and just because online job hunting is hard doesn't mean you shouldn't apply.

post pics of your girl, or lock this thread up.

Yea man professors and career center is the way to go. Your should have been had a career fair this semester or last semester at your university ..... U didn't go for some reason and what's your major and what u trying do as a career

Since I graduated last year it took me a few months to land a solid gig. I had offers for jobs that I turned down because it wasnt something I wanted to do. First, if you havent interned anywhere I HIGHLY suggest you do that first before jumping right into the industry and its easier to find an internship and get hired after. Secondly, make a linkedin if you havent already recruiters can be found there alot easier and you can message them directly and get your foot through the door alot quicker.

Thanks for the advice guys

jumpmankb, you can go play in traffic
