What class was? Did you regret taking it online? Was it more or less work than you thought it was going to be? Thanks.

I took an online class 2 years ago. It was Business of Music or something like that. I liked it because I could do the reading/listening whenever I felt likeit. It was easy to do until I get behind or I'd have more than one chapter to do in a week (

sometimes I would straight forget about it). I wouldusually have quizzes every Friday due by a certain time. It was what I expected and I got an A.

I had an online/lecture class before. All the work was online but you had to come to class for attendance.

I got A's in all of the classes(It was like 3 of them).

You could always cheat and have other windows up

Took English Comp online. Worst decision of all time.

You need to have good self-discipline and self-motivation because there is no one really pushing you to do anything. But if you have those two (along with agood computer of course) then it is a piece of cake.

ive done it all through college here and there...its great if u just get it done and dont put it off..give it a try op

why?

2x more papers, and 2x more pages required than the actual class. And my attention span at home is terrible. It's based more on me than the class.

Only do this if you are a very disciplined student. The only online class I've taken and will ever take (hopefully) is Econ, and I almost failed it becauseI'm a huge procrastinator. Online classes are DEFINITELY not for everyone.

pretty much

i took some classes with university of phoenix and it was real easy u just had to be disciplined and do your assignments before the deadline and not at thelast minute

I'm taking a Marketing class online this semester. Hope its not too bad.

i took an online course and my computer crashed mid semester. all the info was saved on that computer so i had to drop the class

it was sociology.

id do it again, it was rather easy. up until my computer crashed i was getting As and Bs on my test

Its a gift and a curse. They're coo cause u don't have to attend class. They're a curse b/c w/o the self-discipline, its not gon end well. I tookof em, Civil War History and Psych of Gender. Online courses give u a lot more work imo. A lot to cover in little time but if its somethin u coo w/ then ushould be good. I slacked on my midterms and didn't do well but knocked finals out (studied for a week for both, coverin 7 ch each) and did well. M/Ts hurtmy grades tho

If you have no self discipline to watch the lectures everyday and not let them build up on you then don't take it.

Otherwise you'll be fine.

Online and Self Paced classes tend have more work than the actual class because the teacher can't really help you out.

i've taken like 5 online courses, i made a's in all of them. distance learning classes are easier for me all you really have to do is keep up with thematerial & you're good. it is usually a lot of information on one exam bc sometimes there may only be 4 exams a semester. the work load differs.

3/4 of my summer classes were online this summer. I didn't like them too much because I respond better to a lecture because it's being spoken toyou--whereas a text book is just a bunch of rambling facts back to back that are written in a very boring manner. I got A's in 3/4 of them, though. It wastough because some of them would have the exams on a weekend, and I forgot one time because I usually like to have fun on the weekends. I ended up making itup, but it could have been disastrous. Finance was by far the hardest of the online courses I took because it involved a good amount of math and the prof'sexams covered stuff not included in the text so most of the class is appealing the grades.

I took online Sociology 101 and did fine with it.. it wasn't that bad at all. There was a weekly quiz which meant skimming the chapter before taking thequiz so I know where to find info and having the book in front of me when I took the test and a simple research paper. I don't know how an online math orscience course would work out but it sounds like a recipe for disaster.. that's a type of class I would much rather sit in a classroom for.

Took two short term online classes to fill units, 5 1/2 weeks. The tests are actually not that bad because you can literally look up anything online or skimthrough the book but it feels like you are playing Jeopardy because the test is usually timed. Deadlines are usually Sunday night but start your assignmentsearly in the week or it will come back to bite you in the %+*.

I prefer actual class lectures.
