Computer help!

For about two days now that little hour glass thing that always pops up when you open a program does not go away! I recently installed Microsoft security essential and right after I installed it the hour glass wouldn't go away, so I can only assume something happened during the install. I already sent them an email about this problem but I was just wondering if anyone might know what the problem is? Thanks in advance

I would try a system restore - just roll it back to before you installed that and then install it again. Probably just a faulty install.

Your computer's RAM is probably getting hogged up by the new security processes. Uninstall?

Not enough ram, slow computer, it can be any number of things.
Need more info to determine what kind of problem you have.

Try setting MSE to scan at a time when you not likely to use it.
