Computer peoples please read I need help

Hey everyone, i was trying to transfer some files from my old laptop to my new one on a USB stick and somehow when i saved them on my USB when it was in the old computer they were not visible on the  new one so i formatted the drive and it erased the drivers. I've tried going to the website for the USB stick but its not helping me find out how to get those drivers back on the USB stick. Any help is appreciated

Drivers for a usb flash drive? you shouldn't need one, unless I'm missing something...

i never heard of a usb drive needing a drive

Was it a free USB stick with a company logo on it? Sometimes they have drivers that initially are intended to auto-start a PowerPoint slideshow and when you wipe them clean it becomes unusable.

Drivers on USB? What brand are you using? What kind of computer are you using that it didn't recognize the files?

Drivers for the usb drive or on the usb drive? Generally, you shouldn't need any to read a USB drive, Windows will automatically recognize it
