BEFORE YOU ADVANCE REALIZE THIS METHOD ONLY AFFECTS XBOX AND NOT THE REST OF THE NETWORK.
2NDLY YOU MUST HAVE A ROUTER WITH NAT AND DMZ.
I'm saying that because some ppl might need their parents to help them with this, rest assured your pc's willl be inaffected by anything I'm going to have you do/try.
I'm going to try to clear up some NAT issues using DMZ.
My NAT was on Moderate. It took me awhile but I finally figured out how to fix this problem.
Ok before we go any farther you need to have all of the following things handy, or get them.
1. Your Routers Username and Password (Most are admin and admin)
2. Your xbox's IP. (Get it from dashboard under network settings.)
3. Your Routers address(usually 192.168.1.1) Look below for how to get it just to double check it
Allright now alittle terminology for you ppl
NAT - Network Adress Transmission
DMZ - De-Militarized Zone - The zone not affected by the router
HOW TO GET YOUR ROUTERS IP ADDRESS ------- VERY IMPORTANT
Start------> Run
Type in cmd
Click Ok
in the command prompt type ipconfig
The Default Gateway is your Router's IP Address

Now onto the good part, getting your NAT to Open.
For Routers that have UPnP capabilities, this the only option you will need. With that being said do the following:
1. Set your Xbox 360's IP To Automatic
2. Disable DMZ
3. Remove Port Forwarding Entries.
4. ENABLE UPnP
You should now be all set.

Step-by-Step Instructions If you don't have uPnP.
1. Login in to your router site.
2. Find your DMZ settings
3. There should be a local and a public setting.
4. Type your xbox's IP into the local DMZ host IP box.
5. Hit Apply or Accept or w/e.
6. Restart your xbox up and go to the dashboard and test your xbox live connection.
7. You should have OPEN NAT now.
Now before we did all that everything was under the control of your router.
Example of this:
You have 2 pc's and an xbox all going thru moderate or strict NAT so hackers and what not can't get into your system very easily.
After your xbox has open NAT your router no longer has any control over it but it still has total control over your pc's, therefore keeping them very safe.

As fopr ppl in dorms or at universities.
Many colleges have their internet setup so only "computer connections" can go thru and use their internet.
The only way to get past this with an xbox is "bridge"()no not cheat lol) your connection thru your computer so it looks like a computer connection and not an xbox.
I will not go into any detail of how to do this so don't ask:
