I just bought a VGA cable to connect my Laptop to my LCD TV but for some reason all it is showing on my TV is the background image from my computer.. Is therea setting I have to change so that video will work? thanks!

prolly acting as a 2nd monitor (like two monitors next to each other)... you can change it to something else (such as mirroring) in the display settings

That's how it's supposed to be. Unless you really want things to be split in two. You can drag things to the second monitor from the main one. Have NTon one, pr0n on the other.

Op - when ur using the tv as a computer, how is the quality. I'm thinking about getting a tv and using it as a monitor. Any suggestions?
