Shouldnt confederate flags be outlawed since they can be considered treasonous, i mean eventhough they are a part of free speech dont they representtreason?

You need more to back up what you're saying, because if thats the whole reason they should be banned, then there should also be a ban on Japanese flagsword to pearl harbor.

I remember back when I was younger it was a huge issue. not so much treason but racism, and the main point was they should keep it because its their traditionor heritage or something like that. Now I just see them so much it doesn't even matter. I freaking know a couple black guys who have shirts with the rebelflag on it.

Japan was never a part of the US, to me a confederat flag is sayin, if the south tried to secede again, i would fight for them, which is treason.

The confederate flag is nothing but a mere relic of regional pride. A weak one at that. Only the countriest of people still fly this flag.

it is, unfortunately, impossible to outlaw the confederate flag.
That would be going against the basic freedoms the constitution allocates to the citizens of the USA.
But I do wish that people were a little bit more sensitive to the racial stigma associated with the confederate flag.
So, i guess i'm saying that i wish the confederate flag would gradually disappear off the face of the earth, not because people are forced to get rid ofit, but rather because people begin to realize that it is a hindrance in our road to a more perfect & united nation.
