In a past thread an ex worker there said that they used old meat..you know..when its gets slimy? He talked about some other things but I cant remember them.
They use cheese and toast the bread to cover up that the bread has gone sour and expiry.
 
Foot Locker

-I worked there for about five years.
-I transfered between three different Foot Lockers in that time.
-Always bring your own socks!!! None of those stores EVER cleaned the try-on socks!
-People, for reasons I still don't understand, would come in and ask for try on socks even though they came to the mall looking for shoes. We're talkinabout socks that have had a million feet in em. I saw some nasty feet too! So just know that those try-on socks are not sanitary. They are just plainnasty...the bin we kept them in straight stunk too. When they got too yellow, we would just throw them away.

Bonus: If you're cool and ask for some new try-on socks politily....They still are going to pull the cleanest LOOKING sock in the bin, so don't evenask. Just come prepared.

didn't do anything effed up to customers anywhere i worked...

here's something i heard from someone recently, there's a warehouse in my area that manufactures feminine hygiene products and there's noregulation for the warehouse workers to wear gloves or anything...of course they're supposed to wash their hands but who knows how often that happens

just something to think about, ladies, next time you throw a tampon up in ya

eh not really anything special but when i semi worked for delivering phone books in my truck with some fam we

-threw books at houses

-threw books at your dog

-dropped off books in the street (although your house was a couple of feet away)

-if you were sitting on your porch we'd do a drive bye and try to hit you

-Your tax return is extremely simple if all you have is a W-2, you can do it yourself in about 15 minutes.
-You pay ridiculous amount of interest by getting your refund in a short amount of time (30% and up). Your better off borrowing from a bank if you need moneythat bad.
-The larger your refund, the larger our fee will be.
-Its no coincidence that Tax Service places are located in low to moderate income communities, they are there to exploit those people.
-Every tax preparer isn't properly trained. If an office is short on help they will take anybody who walks in the door and is willing to take a basic classfor 1 day and there is not test after the class is over.

I never noticed that they are located in low income communities. My area is not bad off but their is a lot of dumb people around it and you seethem pretty much everywhere.
 
all the people messing with people food should seek help. chances are when you eat out one day it could also happen to you or someone you know. i canunderstand if youre upset with a customer but dont do it to innocent people and especially not to little kids who go to mcdonalds and KFC often. i know thatfrom now on if my order is wrong/messed up by a staff i would ask for a refund instead.

- i could give a discount to cash paying customers, didnt tell them, kept the difference. adds up quick
- i once pushed a customer's new STS to the point where i got a warning of "fuel cut off, REDUCE SPEED"

- I hate the doctors I work for
- I hit them dogs so HARD when they bite me...even though you're not supposed to
- I'm supposed to put dogs in other cages when they @!#+ in their cage...but I don't. I just pick up the @!#+and keep it movin...
- I'm supposed to walk the dogs for like 15 minutes a piece. I just let them pee and doo and take they %*% backinside
- When the docs ask me to do @!#+ when I'm bout to clock out, I don't clock out...I take EXTRA long to do whatthey asked me though. I need them extra minutes

its the world we live in. the point of this thread was to expose the shady things that happen at the places we all go to from an insider who has helpful info.did you not learn something from this?? i sure did we arent trying to glorify it, just filling you all in
 
This is a great example of the American work ethic these days. This is a testament to why many of our industries are failing and are no longer relevant. Peoplehave no pride in what they do, constantly look for short-cuts, and don't take their jobs seriously.

I find it almost humorous that the only people that you can trust in a fast food restaurant(or any service related biz) these days are the employees that areimmigrants. They're the only ones who take their jobs seriously, actually hustle and work hard, and don't find pleasure in poisoning each other.

Look, I've cut corners like everyone else. But damn, I was maybe giving out a free drink here and there , grabbing some food for myself, etc, back when Iwas an youngster in a restaurant.

Independent auto repair shop
-used the same grade oil in damn near every car, even if you paid for synthetic (we hardly ever have synthetic in stock)
-charged for alignment after replacing steering/suspension but if it drove straight afterwards, we'd skip the alignment
-sometimes wouldn't change the oil filter if we didn't have it in stock/needed that lift asap
-customer cars are used for lunch runs, parts runs, customer drop offs, joy rides if you had a nice car
-recommendation to all people: have a good relationship with all the shop personnel if you can. If a customer is cool peoples and a regular (even just for oilchanges), we'll definitely take care of you with freebies, discounts, time priority, etc.
 
AT&T store rep:

i wont sell you an iphone if you are chinese or indian
if youre indian i will most likely pass on the sale
if you have a vip offer discount i will tell you get free accessories
i look through your pictures when i service your phone
sometimes your text messages too
i send you to customer service often because i dont make money for handling billing issues.
 
Yeah messing with peoples food is pretty OD. If my stuff is ever wrong im asking for a refund from now on. Some of yall need a good @@% beating for some ofthat stuff.

Same old stuff as everyone. Mad customers would get the "sorry we don't have that" line

If you came at me with like 5 shoes Id most likely just grab the first 2 I could find and tell you we didn't have the rest.

I would put you on a dumb machine and push insoles even if I thought you didn't need them.

If I wore a pair of shoes to work and they got dirty or scuffed on shoe boxes I would just go back to my size in that shoe and switch it out for a brand newone.

Be nice to all the people that help you because if they don't want to help they don't have to.

Customers who get on my nerves I charge full price for accessories or anything else.

We have so much decision in how much things cost. I can charge someone 40 dollars for a charger or 10. All depends on if I like you or not.

If something is free for a certain amount of time and you don't cancel it yourself, you are going to be charged for it after the fre period is up

Don't come in acting like you cancelling your plan is going to hurt us as a store. They are going to get your money after you sign a contract no matter ifyou keep the plan or not.

Babasically the nicer you are the more apt im going to be to help you get the best deal
