swung by the mall a moment ago and just scooped up a pair half size down from my TTS which is what I have for the black/red and WC. Surprisingly fit me pretty well and am gonna put these up there as sleepers of the year

I went to the store to buy a pair with my son
Asked for a size
I took the box
Sat down and started trying one on
Why an employee gonna tell me
They don’t allow people to try on retro shoes
On release day because resellers complain
I still tried it on
Bought my sons pair and left
Never heard that in my life

i woulda told him "i dont give a f about resellers. if i call corporate right now, are they going to tell me the same thing u just said?" and watch him b quiet.

any employee who tells u something like that, is probably shady and a reseller.

FNL didn’t let me try on and CHAMPS told me to not “walk around” in them while trying them on

^ that is dumb as hell... i dont try on shoes anymore but thats not the point... a lot of people still try on shoes... how would they know how the shoe fits so they have to try it on...if a lot of stores are doing that shame on them

Not all shoes fit the same
And shoe will get sold regardless
So I don’t see their reasoning
I still tried it on
And don’t care
Just cracks me up
How when u walk into shoe store
They start hounding u
Like “hey what do I need
Anything I can help u find”
But then have a trash practice of
Not wanting people to try on the shoes

Jimmy Jazz In Mondawmin told me that a few years ago smh

Interestingly one of the guys who copped this morning at Footlocker asked to try his pair on, and the worker seem to have no qualms in letting him do so. Wasn’t very many peeps though so that might be why.

Or they thought nawty wanted to sample them and take them on a test drive out the store, or put a team Jordan tag on the box.

So... for the people that actually wear matching clothes here. Do you sometimes get frustrated trying to decide which model to wear when you have many of the same colorways? Do you start off with the shoes first? Luckily there are many shades of grey, but I think I might have a hard time chosing these over shadows when it comes down to what grey/black/white shoe to wear. Luckily 1s are tanks, so those should be worn more, I guess.
