I had a feeling.
My point was, usually people from impoverish neighborhoods in major metropolitan area usually don't have conservative views. I definitely was not including the outlying poorer towns further from more populated areas. Usually if you're born in or around urban areas, you're exposed to more types of people which usually results in a more tolerant mindset.

I guess I’ll throw in my 2 cents…
A majority of mainstream rap has always been about portraying a certain image to the youth who are the most influenced by the music.
Use the entertainment industry to influence a generation to look up to and glorify violence and drug dealing, to always trying to go after what’s “hot” and never being able to build any real wealth of their own, to these days promoting straight up drug usage/addiction.
There’s a reason those are the themes the mainstream has promoted over the past however many years while anything of actual substance gets zero attention.
These labels sign these rappers and if they don’t make the music the label wants them to make, they aren’t getting promotion.
