Contiki Tour?

Anyone ever did a Contiki Tour? Experiences?

I just completed one. I had a great time. I saw 7 countries in 10 days. Very fast-paced but great for beginners. I know you can do it yourself on a cheaper budget but It was a nice introduction to Europe.  I would recommend it for first-time travelers who wan to get a sample of a certain continent.

I find traveling to be addictive and I am already trying to plan my next vacation.

I did one back in '05 it was . Don't ever take a GF on a Contiki tour


I know what you mean by addictive, I got my third vaction this year coming up next week

There was a few couples on tour with us but the ones who were single had much more fun!

All in all I suppose I spent roughly $4,000. I did quite a bit of shopping for souvenirs and ate out a lot. Basically I spared no expense on myself. I also did nearly all of the tour optional activities. The best money I have ever spent. If you have never traveled before and are btw the ages of 1-35, I think doing a contiki tour is definitely the way to go. There were a lot of people who came alone and quickly made friends whom they paired up with. I wish I could relive that experience.

My uncle did a month long European tour more than 6 yrs ago and loved it. I plan on doing one too after I graduate.
