Contrary to popular belief, Reggaeton does have real lyricists. It's obvious that I know what I'm talking about cause I'm bilingual, and I grew up listening to the Wu, Mobb Deep, Big Pun, Gang Starr, Nas, etc. The Reggaeton artists that I'm referring to were storytellers, etc. There was nothing basic about their rhyme pattern, they used to spit conscious and intellectual ish. And this is what gravitated me to Reggaeton.
